These after school workshops are first offered to the staff in our District and will count toward professional development hours. If space remains, these workshops are available to the community of Roselle.
Pre-registration is required, the form for registration can be obtained by clicking  
here.
When workshops are held in the computer labs and hands-on, registration is limited to 24 participants per class. Attendance is voluntary and teacher's will not be compensated for their attendance.
Please do not sign up for advanced or intermediate workshop unless you have basic knowledge of program.

Microsoft Office 2007 “Oh the possibilities!”

The Microsoft Office workshop is meant for individuals with a basic understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite. This workshop will give the learner a working knowledge of the new features in Word and PowerPoint, allowing them to navigate the applications with ease.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, learner will be able to:

§  Use file management, creating and formatting documents, style and templates, tables.

§  Use the formatting features of  both Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

§  Understanding  Word document and PowerPoint tools

§  Inserting images

Introduction to MAC Computers

This workshop will focus on getting a basic knowledge of using MAC computers.  This course is designed for anyone who has been hesitant to use the MACs or anyone who wants/needs basic knowledge and key fundamentals. This workshop will increase your comfort level in using them for yourself and with your students. Similarities of the MAC and PC will be shared so PC skills can be easily transferred to the MAC. Prerequisites: Practical knowledge of computers.

Bella Lamb will give you the tools to create, edit, and share home/school movies with friends & staff. Compile and edit a movie from video clips & pictures. Add special effects, music, and narration with ease. Share your movies with your class, staff, family & friends.
Come to the class with a flash drive filled with your favorite pictures and lets bring them to life in your very own movie.
